Strange Behavior In Line Movement

Symptoms:

In lisp mode, position cursor in the beginning of one single-line
statement(function), and press ctrl-e,  the cursor will move to the beginning of
the immediately next statement.

similar line movement problem also found in some other modes.


In GNU Emacs 22.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
