Yes it is normal, customization of menu bar colors is a system wide
option on Windows. I beleive this is also case for GTK and Mac
menubars at least.
Thanks. Could this be mentioned in the Emacs manual? If we don't want to
document specifics about OS's, could we at least mention that this face
might not have any effect, depending on your OS?
