You're right. I'm sorry not to have written the important
information.

Thanks. I tried it, however I'm not still able to set the
`menu' font. The following works:
(set-face-font 'default "-*-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-*")
But for the `menu' face font, the menu-bar appearance is not
different from the case where Emacs starts with the -q option,
without X resources files.
