The Perl man page exists and can be read in Terminal with man.
It doesn't exist on my system, so I can't reproduce the problem.
However, I made a change that may have fixed it. Please try
the latest software.
Would it be useful to add a flag to turn off the catching of errors in
process sentinels and filters? This would facilitate debugging errors
in them. It's good to catch those errors, in normal operation, but it
does get in the way of debugging. Or perhaps when debug-on-error is set
that should turn off the catching of these errors.
