Symptoms:
A buffer that sends mail had best check the line coding before
piping it into the sendmail program, and - if necessary - convert
it first.
I'm on a gnu/linux system, and was trying to send a message from
a file created on a Mac. It took me some time to find out what
was going wrong.
In GNU Emacs 22.0.50.7 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2005-07-26 on cc.at.coli.uni-sb.de
X server distributor `The XFree86 Project, Inc', version 11.0.40201000
