Hello!Carbon Emacs has problems with umlauts and accented characters in a LaTeX with AUCTeX:
As you can see Emacs chooses the regular versions of Bitstream Courier -- although the bold and bold-oblique versions too have these umlauts and accents. Unicode Info says that these fonts contain 691 glyphs and 730 names for them. Here is some more proof:
(BTW, ispell reads 'sérifs' without Unicode representations) -- Greetings Pete Remember: use logout to logout.
