I didn't see anything obvious, but I'm not intimately familiar with
the font-lock stuff. mh-visit-folder contains this:

  (make-local-variable 'font-lock-defaults)
  (setq font-lock-defaults '(mh-folder-font-lock-keywords t))

Is this the usual way of injecting one's keywords?
