Do you have some evidence that users are (1) _really_ doing this, and
(2) getting excessively worried about the resulting (harmless) error
message?
Sure, I have a large body of such evidence, with signed affadavits and
witness countersignatures. The testimony about "excessive worrying" is
especially worrying. Why do you ask?
Because it isn't worth taking time to clean up a minor blemish if it
isn't causing any trouble. You suggest it may cause a kind of
trouble: that beginning users might be feeling unwarranted worries
about it. It is theoretically possible, but I expect it is not the
case.
If you have some evidence that they are in fact feeling unwarranted
worries about this, that might show it is a real issue.
