But I typed M-x desktop-save TAB, and was offered only these completions:
Possible completions are:
desktop-save-in-desktop-dir desktop-save-mode
Had you already turned on the desktop feature when you tried this?
desktop-save is not autoloaded. The reason is that
it is only useful once you have already started
using the desktop feature, and that means desktop is loaded.
Do you think there is a mistake in that reasoning?
