Please note that there's a possibility that you'll end up
with non-antialis font even with Xft.

Anyway, the base of the problem is that the current default
fontset is not suitable for Xft.  There's no way to tell
your preference to Emacs currently.  There are many things
to be fixed in the fontset-related codes.  Please wait for
that.
