Builds ok; runs ok; install nit

CVS as of Dec 4 builds and runs ok on:

In GNU Emacs 22.0.91.6 (sparc-sun-solaris2.8, X toolkit)
 of 2006-12-04 on perth
X server distributor `Hummingbird Ltd.', version 11.0.100015
configured using `configure 'CFLAGS=-g''

And

In GNU Emacs 22.0.91.6 (sparc-sun-solaris2.8, Motif Version 2.1.0)
 of 2006-12-04 on perth
X server distributor `Hummingbird Ltd.', version 11.0.100015
configured using `configure '--prefix=/rvcarma/marshals/software/slash/usr/local' '--with-x-toolkit=motif' 'CFLAGS=-g''

But there is an install nit.  My system has makeinfo version 4.2, which results in the following during make install:

(cd man; make  info)
cd /rvcarma/marshals/software/emacs/man; makeinfo --force emacs.texi
./display.texi:170: Unknown command `tie'.
./display.texi:170: Misplaced {.
./display.texi:170: Misplaced }.
./ack.texi:520: Unknown command `/orgensen'.

make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `../info/emacs'
Current working directory /rvcarma/marshals/software/emacs/man
*** Error code 1 (ignored)
(cd lispref; make  info)

Not fatal, but maybe something can be done to avoid it?
