I can't reproduce that behaviour in "GNU Emacs 22.0.91.24
(i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.8.20)\n of 2006-12-06 on chrislap"
- could you try rebuilding from newer sources and see if it still
happens?
