Done.  I've moved the existing test for dired-mode so that it catches this
case too.

Same old question: how about splitting lisp/ChangeLog (1149753 bytes).  We
could break off ChangeLog-2005, or even ChangeLog-2005 and ChangeLog-2006 now.
I've read somewhere that CVS doesn't compress uploads, which is presumably why
ChangeLog takes so long to commit.  It's silly for the most frequently
committed file to be the largest.
