GNU Emacs 22.0.95 complains about local variable default-directory : "~/Quellen/X11R7.1/"

Hello!

When trying to open the saved contents of a *compile* buffer, GNU  
Emacs does some lengthy fontifying and then starts to complain:

        The local variables list in Kompilation-xserver,komplett,no-debug
        contains values that may not be safe (*).
        
        Do you want to apply it?  You can type
        y  -- to apply the local variables list.
        n  -- to ignore the local variables list.
        !  -- to apply the local variables list, and permanently mark these
	      values (*) as safe (in the future, they will be set  
automatically.)
        
          * default-directory : "~/Quellen/X11R7.1/"

If it's really needed to suspect a relative path from my home  
directory in a patriotic act as dangerous, then I'd prefer to save  
some time not having to wait until the file's contents has been  
fontified!
