Ah, you are maybe right. It was quite a long time ago since I started using the patch so I do not remember exactly any more. I just remember that I was rather perplexed by the behaviour I saw. However Emacs somehow tells Windows that the window is maximized and that might create some problems since it actually is not maximized.
