The doc string of `custom-variable-type' mentions
`custom-guess-type-alist', but this does not exist. There is a
`custom-guess-doc-alist' and a `custom-guess-name-alist', but no type
alist. There is a function `custom-guess-type' - that is what is used
in function `custom-variable-type'.
In GNU Emacs 22.1.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2007-05-22 on LENNART-69DE564
