Running:
 emacs -Q /address@hidden:/
to attempt to use tramp to FTP, I see an error message.

The *Messages* buffer contains the following:

I just built Emacs from CVS a few minutes ago.

In GNU Emacs 22.1.50.13 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.10.11)
of 2007-06-12 on trpaslik
