I remember sending a bug report for multi-line highlighted links to
someone, and I believe they were fixed to work; maybe that code
generalizes to other tags?

   But are you sure you need this kind of highlighting?

A lot of the tags weren't really intended for human
consumption... but I'm curious to know what the thing looks like.
So it isn't a need per se, but an interest or curiosity.

However, in general when editing heavily tagged up stuff,
e.g. MathML, it would be nice to have a system that would help you
visualize the complex tagging structure.
