No, there isn't (for Muse, at least).  I'd like to implement a
:recurse tag that you can use after :path, but I don't know how
difficult it will be to pull off yet.

Chris:

You could just add the subdirectories using :path tags; it works
perfectly well for me.  See examples/mwolson/muse-init.el.

They are bugs, but I'm not going to try to fix them, since Muse
already handles nested directories in a better way.  Patches are, of
course, welcome.
