Hi,

I added Sydneys Readme patch to the repository. But we need still fixes for the mentioned open points.

But first make sure that you are compiling and testing the 1.01 branch. It is not the svn trunk! It is

"svn://svn.berlios.de/enigma-game/branches/1.0"

Meanwhile we received a bug report at Berlios (#10952): I fixed the wrong version number in "About" menu and found the reason for the minimize bug. SDL 1.2.10 is buggy on Mac OS X (see http://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=281). Please make sure that you link Enigma 1.01 against SDL 1.2.11.

-- docs:

I don't see where it is doing anything to put the documentation into the
dmg it produces.

Me neither. We need to add the lines in src/Makefile.am . Have a look at etc/mingw32-dist.sh.in for the required files (Sections doc files, user manual, reference manual).

-- switch of default user data path
Would "~/Library/Preferences/Enigma" be a proper directory for the users Enigma data?

Can you supply a simple (gnutar) system command to copy the user data from the old to the new path?

For the universal build, we just built separately on a ppc mac and
lipo'd the resulting binaries together. To directly build a universal
binary, we'd have to do a command line build of all the dependencies;
e.g. the SDL folks expect people to just use the frameworks when going
universal.

Would you both together be able to compile and lipo a universal 1.01?

Thanks

Ronald
