I have seen this patch in ERC 5.2. At the time I reported this, I
wasn't familiar with iswitch-mode. Now when I C-c C-b and iswitch-mode
is not activated, things do not work properly i.e. I won't be able to
switch to the desired buffer.
So I would suggest a better solution:
1. revert this change
2. print out a user-friendly message when C-c C-b and iswitch-mode
is not activated.
What do you think?
