Hi all,

I just incorporated the latest changes from the repository into my
working directory. After "./configure --without-mpi" the "make" runs
into an endless loop because automake-1.10 is not installed on my system.

onfig/missing --run automake-1.10 --foreign  doc/ug/Makefile

need it if
         you modified `Makefile.am', `acinclude.m4' or `configure.ac'.
         You might want to install the `Automake' and `Perl' packages.
         Grab them from any GNU archive site.
 cd ../.. && /bin/sh ./config.status doc/ug/Makefile

`Makefile.am' and `configure.ac' are identical to the repository's head
revision, `acinclude.m4' doesn't exist in my working directory.

The fact that automake is to be run is probably related to the state of
my working directory. Has anybody experienced something similar?

Cheers,
Ulf
