[Fhsst-authors] EU Software Petition (some small spam)

please go to this URI and sign the petition against allowing software patents in
the EU; it is a ridiculous idea which will mean that we will end up having to
pay more for software with no alternatives being allowed. if it passes, it will
allow the computer equivalent of patenting the wheel.

you don't need to enter your email address (just use "address@hidden") but
use your real name and occupation in the form. that way you can't be spammed
(but i doubt these guys will ever use your email for that purpose anyway)
