This is proving to be more complex than anticipated. I have a friend who is
head of science or something similar at a local high school, will see if she
can help with this.

wonderful author of math text.
Arnout Brombacher is involved in this area Neil Eddy currently at Pinelands

Hello Mr Chantler,

I am part of a group working on free high school science texts for maths,
physical science and chemistry (we are at http://www.nongnu.org/fhsst/) and
I am trying to get hold of an easily understandable version of the
mathematics syllabus for grades 10-12.

We have been in contact with Steve from Living Maths, who has been a great
help thus far, and he referred me to you in the hope that you would have
something of this nature. Currently the document we have is the National
Curriculum Statement for Mathematics, of October 2002, and not being
teachers, we have encountered some difficulty in translating its contents
into a usable form so that we can check the contents of our book against
what is required.

Do you perhaps have a bare-bones outline of the mathematics curriculum for
grades 10-12 which we could look at? We'd be extremely grateful for any
material or direction you could provide on this matter.

Thanks and regards,

Clare Johnson
