Hi!

Hi Julien!

  I compiled 1.0.4 tarball.
  1. I also got a missing fluid_jack.c - but solved this by copying that file
from 1.0.3.

Yes, fluid_jack.c is missing. You can also get a recent copy of the file
from the following link:

http://savannah.nongnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/*checkout*/fluid/fluidsynth/src/fluid_jack.c?rev=1.3

Then I only get right output. If I press down my footswitch though, I get
both channels.

Isn't that a great feature. It's free software but you have to keep
the footswitch pressed for stereo ;) Or, send $10 to the developers for
the complete version. Just joking. See my next reply.

  3. Also the soundquality is a bit... bad. It's crackling a bit.
I recompiled 1.0.3 and everything worked fine again.
Any ideas of how to fix it?

There were some changes to fluid_jack.c between 1.0.3 and 1.0.4.
I hope that that is the cause of the problems. 1.0.4 should be sounding
better! Do you have the same problems using ALSA or OSS?

Best regards,
Peter

  Kindest regards
       Julien
