[fmp-hackers] Parametric paths

               Hi Marco,

last weekend I noticed that FMP does not have the point of,
direction of, directiontime of etc. MetaPost operators,
which I need badly.  I made a feeble attempt at their
implementation, but got lost in the code.  I plan to embark
on a full-text computer translation of the relevant parts of
Joachim's thesis.  To ease grasping the concepts, it would
be very useful if you wrote a couple of sentences about the
big picture of adding new features, if you can (I assume you
had a closer look at the texts than I was able to).  Or
maybe you haven't, and know just as little as I... in which
case I will just go ahead.
