Yes, something is wrong.  Unfortunately, I can not tell
what.  CVSROOT/{passwd,readers} both contain the anoncvs
entry.  Do you have an idea?  I could probably make changes
if I knew what to do.

Yes, probably not much.  I hope Marco will speak up if we
