Hi all,

I know i have promised it a lot of times, but i am finally ready the current
source code for defrag.

This will however not be the version that everybody expects. There is still
of testing to do before we can go to defrag 2002 that will have all the
promised features.

So what is going to be in:

- A command line and an interactive version of the program. Both fully
implemented and contained within one program.

- All the features of defrag alpha 0.2, only stable.
- A seperate program for sorting directory entries (WITH long file name
support).
- OSCHK.

What is not going to be in:

- A statement that this code is tested on FAT16 and FAT32, although ALL the
code is there.
- Defragmentation, 99.9% of the code is there. It is just not ready.

Why can't i go and download it right now:

The fact that it is very difficult to get something onto the savannah site.
I will first have to install a whole range of programs to get it uploaded.
If somebody has any experience with this, any suggestions would be more than
welcome.

Actually this release is realy intended to have the all source code
available in CVS at savannah.

Imre thanks the audiance for it's anticipation.
