Dear Charles,

Thank you for your kind and helpful answer.

Let me answer your two emails here.

Certainly. We know we need to talk about our project to the free software community in order to recruit experienced developers. In the same direction, we're preparing an article for Brave GNU World. We're going to send it within a few days, once we have published a slightly revised version of the (nearly) finished chapters of our specifications document on Savannah (see below) so that there is a little something on it.

I'm including the Brave GNU World article request.

I understood Advogato accounts were for people, but I'll follow your advice on this matter.

I have created a project page for OSCATS:
  http://www.advogato.org/proj/OSCATS

In fact, we just renamed it into Free CATS.

I decided this in order to ease our project hosting request on Savannah, and it was not a bad move - I was very happy to learn that they accepted it.

See at https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/freecats/

This new name clearly favors free software instead of open source - no trolling meant here ;-)

Please tell me if:
        1. You think the text is OK (you can change it
        if you join advogato;

> The vodka is good but the meat is rotten
I'm not sure I get your point here. It looks like a typical sentence from an old-fashioned language learning book :-))

        2. There is a URL I can give for the OSCATS spec.;
        if not, I could put it at my homepage;
        3. There is a URL I can give for the proposal.

Our project's address on Savannah seems a good choice.
Apart from that, the project's licence is GPL, and thanks for including my business web site address on it.
Please feel free to add any excerpts you like from the document attached.

The most active part happens on our mailing list (10 members). Would you mind if I subscribe your e-mail? I'll also Cc this message to our list.

Of course, if you feel like becoming a member of the project team, you're really most welcome. As for any free software project, and whatever the free time you could assign to our project really amounts to, "many eyes" (in a project team) is a Good Thing.

Apart from you, I also sent a similar e-mail to David Welton. David kindly subscribed to our list, and he also regularly provides some feed-back and answers development-related questions.

Kind regards,
Henri Chorand
