Hi all,

Last Friday, Marylin, Bertrand, Julien and I were very happy to meet 
José Manuel Abreu and Janet Ormrod, both researchers and teachers at the 
Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Télécommunications de Bretagne, located 
near Brest. See their impressive Web site at:

They had come from Brest to Quimper to participate in this meeting, 
which took place in a very constructive, friendly and productive atmosphere.

They are truly interested in helping Free CATS project to take off.

So, we are now working on a formalized agreement between their school 
(one of the very best engineering schools in France) and the project 
team. If everything goes well, a major help could then come during next 
academic year, especially concerning software development, one of the 
many strengths of this school. The ENSTB also has a long history of 
cooperation with public & private sector companies and is one of the 
major French research centers in information & communication technologies.

Also note that this school has shown a strong interest in free software 
development and has pioneered events on a regular basis since many 
years. All this definitely looks most promising.

So, we'll certainly keep you posted!
