Hi,

In order to export to sound file (and midifile) you should assign the midi 
notes to the locked chunks by either:

1) Right clicking on the keyboard icon, choose a starting key, click on assign 
all

2) check the "assign missing midi notes" checkbox in the Save chunks dialog.

If the midi note isn't assigned to a chunk, the chunk will be saved but not 
exported to Soundfont neither to midi file.
