Hello!

My task is to implement string rendering for Linux.
The critical point is drawing monochrome bitmaps and grayscaled in
future.
I use XImage and XPutImage, but in this case adititonal bit
transposition of FreeType bitmaps are needed.
As I have never write programm for XLib before I do not know is it
right way to bitblt bitmaps. And there is not much information in this
area on the Internet.
Does anybody can help me and tell the "clever" method or may send me some
code examples?
