Hello.
The font CODE2000 hits a bug in the cache manager (ftview segfaults).
I believe it is originated by the same problem, even if I didn't
investigate too much as I am unfamiliar with the cache code (much in
the same way you are). Memory leaks in the cache subsystem are
reported by memproof.
