[Devel] perl module

Hi Everyone,

Is there a perl module in the works anywhere that acts as a wrapper for
FreeType?  I know the GD library can be compiled to use FreeType but the
latest perl packages contain defective versions of GD.  (Only the bounding
boxes of the characters appear when text is rendered.)
