Hello everyone,

I'm currently preparing a small web-page titled "FreeType 2.2 in a nutshell",
in order to quickly introduce the advantages of installing 2.2 on a typical
user desktop. I'd like to make it graphical with some screenshots and
graphs :-)

My first item is titled "improved CJK text rendering", and I'd like to add
some screenshots that demonstrate the improvements obtained by the
inclusion of FireFly's enhancements.

However, I'm certainly not a native Chinese or Japanese speaker, and I
don't feel I have enough experience to choose an example that demonstrate
the improvements in a radical way.

So, is anyone here willing to contribute two screenshots of the same
"scene" ?, one with FT 2.1.10 (or earlier), another one with FT 2.2,
demonstrating the changes to the full auto-hinting algorithm ?

That would be really appreciated. If you have other ideas, don't hesitate
to write on the mailing-list too.

Thanks in advance,

PS: Apart from that, I've already collected quantitative numbers related
to speed and memory footprint, and they're rather good. As an example,
doing a "fc-cache -f" to regenerate all font caches on my machine
(Ubuntu Dapper) takes 17.5s with 2.1.10 installed, and only 10.5s with
     2.2.

I'm also working on improving these numbers even further (more than
10s still seems ridiculous to me), but the patches will come after the 2.2.1
     release.
