Argh, my deepest apologies - found it in the changelog around 2002-2003. That's
Freetype1, and way before I took any interest in ghostscript in any substantial
way.
That's also way before Ken's time with Artifex, I think? In any case, I think
he was referring to the more recent Freetype2 work, which he and Chris was
deeply involved in.
