FWIW, I am mostly with Behdad: if the next version of freetype is 2.8.0, just
change the behavior of 'light'. It is okay for the rendering behavior to change
across a significant bump in version.
OTOH, if a new hinting mode is introduced, I'd rather it isn't as visually
similar as 'slight' vs 'light', which dffers by only one letter... it is too
confusing and looks like a typo of somebody adding an extra 's' there by
mistake. 'semi-light' or something a bit more visually different?
