No, I always want this. However, adding an option to disable prefixes
is easy, e.g.,
FT2_DEBUG="any:3 memory:7 stream:5 noprefix"

Maybe, I don't know. Since it's trivial to support older compilers
(but without the new feature) I don't see a reason to suddenly enforce
C99.
