The FreeType 2.0 release packages are now available on
the main FTP server and the SourceForge mirror. They
should be available on all mirrors by tomorrow. Look at:
ftp://ftp.freetype.org/pub/freetype2/freetype-2.0.tar.gz
ftp://ftp.freetype.org/pub/freetype2/freetype-2.0.tar.bz2
ftp://ftp.freetype.org/pub/freetype2/ft20.zip
these packages contain fixes for the Unix install problem
as well as typographic error corrections.
