Such a problem happened about three weeks ago on the devel list -- a
subscribed reader posted a message to the list which triggered either
a misconfiguration or a bug in the freetype.org server so that his
mail has been sent again and again (I received more than 2000 copies).
Interestingly, just a single copy of his email appeared in the
archives.
I still don't know what exactly was going on (I've never seen this
before).
Sorry for the inconvenience. I fear it is too late to do anything
right now since the digest mails have been probably sent out already.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Werner
