Before booting SGI O2, I tested cross-building for mips big-endian.
Detail of toolchains:
glibc libc6_2.2.5-11.8_mips.deb (Debian)
libc6-dev_2.2.5-11.8_mips.deb (Debian)
kernel header kernel-headers-2.4.27_2.4.27-11.040815-2_mips.deb
(Debian)
binutils-2.16.1 vanilla, targetted to mips-ip22-linuxelf
gcc-3.0.4 vanilla, targetted to mips-ip22-linuxelf
(a bit old. but Debian glibc is built by gcc-3.0.x)
I could build FreeType2 CVS that is checked out 2005/10/25
as previous post. But, cross building of revisions after
2005/10/28 might fail. "apinames" is not enabled for cross
building (I think it's my next task after MacOS issue.
