[ft] Problem in rotating the text

hi,
    if i try to apply the transformation using the matrix to rotate the
text, am not able to get the characters clear at certain angles...

for instance, at certain angles, the text appears crumpled as shown below...

i could not find out the reason... 
any help would be of great use...
