I'm sure sometimes is hard to explain the GNU philosophy to non-computer related people when they just asked about Linux. At this case, I like to let clear the efforts made by GNU crew and the free software movement to make the Linux Kernel what it has become nowadays.

When I'm speaking about Free Software it's easier, because people usually pay attention for an explanation about the real sense of it. Therefore I speak about the terminology deeper, speaking sometimes technically why only Linux is wrong and sometimes ethically.
