Hrm. I think it's important not to underestimate how crucial the
generalities are to home users, especially as most home users will never
need the features you listed above. Security has to be the biggest one,
followed by choice - the ability to change, add or remove your browser,
your desktop/window manager, your mail client, your newsreader, your word
processor or office suite, etc, all without doing any harm to the
underlying operating system.
