In my experience each letter should be written by the individual. MPs
can spot a `photocopy this letter and send to your MP' campaign a mile
off. If you put no effort into writing it, then why is it significant
to them?

Try and make the letter personal, e.g. the impact the proposed changs
would have on you and your personal freedoms or business.

Target your MP, the MP of your business location if writing in a
professional capacity. Any Members of the House of Lords if they're
either local, used to be the MP for your area, or specialise in the
subject matter.

By all means share the contents of your letter. It will give others
ideas and inspire them to do something. But don't simply copy someone
elses letter verbatim.

Just my 2p's worth.

Cheers,

Ralph.
