Hi all,
Regarding the fuss about the impacts of digital rights management (DRM), I
think it's significant that the dat after the consultation on implementing
DRM via copyright closes a new consultation is launched on limiting the
rights of data subjects to access the information held about them.
I'll be producing a digest of the proposals in about a week.
In the mean time there's a Guardian article, published today, at:
http://politics.guardian.co.uk/foi/story/0,9061,823817,00.html
The consultation paper is available from the Lord Chancellor's web site at:
http://www.lcd.gov.uk/consult/foi/dpsacons.htm

"We are not for names, nor men, nor titles of Government, nor are we for
this party nor against the other but we are for justice and mercy and
truth and peace and true freedom, that these may be exalted in our nation,
and that goodness, righteousness, meekness, temperance, peace and unity
with God, and with one another, that these things may abound."
