I agree that this is a very interesting field.  If vendors had to
display whether something was covered by DRM or not there is a
possibility people would feel less comfortable with the idea.

I'm sure the marketing people have taglines:
"DRM protected - to ensure your safety"
"DRM assured"
"DRM guaranteed"
"Free bonus feature: DRM"

The big question is how much awareness people have that DRM can be a
negative thing.  I was pretty surprised by people on the street in
Zurich.  While the majority didn't know what DRM was, those that took a
moment to speak generally didn't like the idea at all.  If we can get
people to take a second to look at DRM (and if goods display when they
are covered by DRM) I think we'd see increased pressure to move away
from the technology.
