Well, I expect they have policies about documentation, artwork, other
programs, firmware and so on, but they only require application
programs to be free software.  I'd be very careful how you phrase that
suggestion, but let the list know how you get on, please.

I'm not up-to-date with my Ubuntu-speak.  What's brainstorm?

I've read them rarely and when I have, they were disappointing.  More
often the good stuff in the Ubuntu forums seems to be adapted from
debian-based blogs like in http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/131662/

I would say that Ubuntu support is most vocal and noticeable at the
moment, though.  Is Ubuntu the new SuSE in that way and the
close-but-no-cigar freedom approach?
