Seems to work fine. But I cannot type umlauts, i.e. äöü. In the Terminal, it 
beeps, but doesn't print the characters.
When I open a file with vi, and then press the umlauts I get:

\xf6\xe4\xfc

using xterm, it just works as expected.

Don't know whether this is a regression, I just accidently stumbled upon it.
