Hi,

I released both a stable and a development release of the Gnome
Chemistry Utils.

The stable release is 0.8.5. Main news for this release are:
3d viewer:
  * Really implement command line options.
Gnome Crystal:
  * Fix print and image export [#21946] (also concernes 3d viewer).
  * Don't crash when changing an element in the atoms dialog [#21576].
Other:
  * Fix compilation with gcc-4.3 snapshot [#21764].
  * various other fixes, see ChangeLog for details.

The development release is 0.9.2:
3d viewer:
  * Add wireframe mode.
  * Really implement command line options.
GChemCalc:
  * support abbreviations (at least those that are not ambiguous).
GChemPaint:
  * SVG export does not work for radicals. [#21715]
Gnome Crystal:
  * Fix print and image export [#21946] (also concernes 3d viewer).
  * Don't crash when changing an element in the atoms dialog [#21576].
GSpectrum:
  * New program.
Other:
  * Fix compilation with gcc-4.3 snapshot [#21764].

I would have liked to have more new stuff in the development branch, but
time missed. In the months to come, I intend to work on abbreviations
and generic symbols in both GChemCalc and GChemPaint, and rewrite
import/export of cdx and cdxml files.
I initially hoped that 0.10.0 would be ready for next summer, but is
becomes less probable each day.

Best regards,
Jean
